It's the love and laughter that gets you through

I will update this page with some of my conversation with my hubs and my grand daughter. Probably other bits that make me laugh and get through this next moment. Some of these might be culled from the past and trotted out again as there are some real gems from those two guys.

hubs: (criticizes what i'm doing), ah geez, i'm sorry honey. that was uncalled for.

Me: No problem, we are both so stressed out we are going to be snappy. So I guess we just need to agree to be extra tolerant and forgiving for the next few weeks.

hubs: So it's a good time to talk about that 20 year old cutie?

Me: Oh, no need for you to worry about him, he wasn't any good.

hubs: ...(blink blink)... very good honey, very good turn there.

An old Lillian(a) story for you. Hubs and I had been discussing a situation at his work and I said "that was inconsiderate of him"

Lillian(a): What's that word Mimi. incompidrit

me: Inconsiderate. That means when you do something without thinking of how it will affect another person.

Lillian(a): say it another way

me: Like if you were watching Dora and I came in and switched channels to watch what I wanted without asking you if it was ok.

Lillian(a): ok

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Lillian(a)'s Mommy: Lillian, its time to take a bath, come on.

Lillian(a): I am busy right now. Really mommy that is incompidrit of you.


Hubs (walking into the room): Hey, i've been thinking.
me: I'm not that flexible. 
Hubs: crap (walks out of the room)
